Game Elements

The following are the various game elements you’ll notice when playing Zaxxoids:

Zaxxoids Image
Zaxxoids
Come in four colors: red, blue, green, and purple. These can be eliminated by forming lines of three or more balls and/or Zaxxoids of the same color, or destroyed by a bomb. Zaxxoids can be free to roll or “locked” in place. You must eliminate all Zaxxoids in order to successfully complete a level.
Standard Balls Image
Standard Balls
Come in four colors: red, blue, green, and purple. These can be eliminated by forming lines of three or more balls and/or Zaxxoids of the same color, or destroyed by a bomb. Balls can be free to roll or “locked” in place.
Black Balls Image
Black Balls
Cannot be destroyed except by using a bomb. Black Balls can be free to roll or “locked” in place.
Timebombs Image
Timebombs
Will explode when their timer reaches zero.
Fuse Bombs Image
Fuse Bombs
Will explode when they come to rest.
Critical Cells Image
Critical Cells
Are marked with a “hazard” symbol. If a ball or Zaxxoid comes to rest on a Critical Cell, you’ll have a limited time to move it away or else lose the level.
Flying Ball Delivery Robots Image
Flying Ball Delivery Robots
These place new balls and bombs on the playing field.
Spawning Cells Image
Spawning Cells
Are marked with a “target” symbol. The flying ball delivery robots will place balls onto the playing field on these cells. If a ball or Zaxxoid comes to rest on a Spawning Cell, you’ll have a limited time to move it away or else lose the level.
No-Bomb Cells Image
No-Bomb Cells
These look like a normal cell, but when a bomb enters them it is vaporized.
Gates Image
Gates
These are the parts that block the bottom right or bottom left side of a cell. You can flip the gates by left-clicking on the cell.
Flags Image
Flags
Flags are placed by center-clicking on a cell. They have no effect on other game elements, but can help you mark no-bomb cells, gates you don’t want to flip accidently, etc.
